Shelter for people with disabilities in San Luis Obispo County:
Would you like to help us shelter disabled persons in San Luis Obispo County until
they can find a better solution? We help only those who are too ill, injured or
disabled to be in a shelter overnight and outdoors during the day. You can get more
information by calling President Pearl Munak at (805) 238-7056. Over 90% of our
funds go directly to client services. We have no expenses for staff or office, as we
are all volunteers. We are funded by donations and grants and have been in operation
since 1998.

Make a donation of real property:
We could reduce our expenses if we could have our own facility instead of renting.
We are exempt from property taxes as a charity, and would have only the expenses of
utilities, insurance and maintenance. If the property is not suitable for a facility,
we could trade it or sell it and use the proceeds to purchase a facility.
