PROGRAMS

What do we do?       How Can You Help?

What Do We Do?

  • Temporary, emergency housing (Motel Voucher Program) for homeless persons too ill to be served in a shelter.
  • Serve an evening meal to the low income or homeless of Paso Robles, Monday through Friday at Second Baptist Church.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Volunteer to help direct traffic for the Wine Country Run, March 21, 2010. Contact Liz Koll for more information. scissors@tcsn.net

Volunteer to do organizational work, fundraising events, and help put out the newsletter.

Donate: Check out the Community Partner Program and the eScript Program.

Mentor:  Please consider being a mentor for a single person  (male or female) that needs a step up from the “emergency “ shelter program.

  • Many of the clients at the shelter are stuck in a system that is not able to lift them up.

  • There is no affordable housing for someone who is not able to pay large amounts every month. If you have a spare room that is not being used, please consider giving an individual a chance to move on with their lives.  It could be a real blessing for someone.

  • Transitional Food and Shelter will carefully screen a possible client for the best connection for both parties and continue to mentor the client as well. Developing a team approach will help solve a critical need in our community.
